In Sept. 2023 I did another GAdventures tour along the northern coast of Sicily. Followed by a conference and workshop near Palermo. Food was great, weather was hot (36C some days), volcanoes were impressive and the islands were lovely. Teatro Massimo -- Palermo A couple of days in Palermo to jet unlag and meet the group (of 15) and the guide. Then a day in Cefalu and on to Lipari on the Aeolian Islands. Spent my birthday there and was surprised at supper time that the guide had arranged a celebration for me. Nice towns on the islands. We made a few small trips to local spots. Some swimming -- got stung by a jellyfish! On my birthday! Did a night cruise around Stromboli which put on a nice show for us. A quick visit to Taormina and then a couple of days in Catania which included visiting Mt. Etna and a honeyfarm. Etna crater Honey which hat?
